Preliminary Results Detailing the Effect of the Cultivation System of Mulched Ridge with Double Row on Solanaceous Vegetables Obtained by Using the 2ZBX-2A Vegetable Transplanter

China is the largest vegetable producer in world, and production more geographically concentrated Huang-Huai-Hai region Yangtze River Basin. There are significant challenges ahead for increasing average yields of vegetables this region. The effects a cultivation system, mulched ridge with double row (MRDR), were evaluated by using 2ZBX-2A transplanter newly designed paper. key parameters equipment optimized human–computer interaction method discrete element according to agronomy requirements. Compared traditional (TR) system on two typical solanaceous (eggplant capsicum), uniformities plant spacing planting depth MRDR significantly improved. Finally, fresh fruit yield increased (p < 0.05) 40.8% 35.3% compared that TR eggplant capsicum, respectively. In addition, water use efficiency (WUE) was also 54.9~59.7% higher under than system.
